Martin:
Call me Martin. I have visited the zoo. I came with my family two or three years ago.
Horst:
Do you want to see some of the animals?
Martin:
Yes. We can walk and talk. When did you come to the Bronx Zoo, Horst?
Horst:
I came four years ago.
Martin:
How does someone become a zoo keeper?
Horst:
I studied for many years at the university. There are many of us here at the zoo. I am a doctor. An animal doctor of course. Other people study other things. My wife studied animal behavior.
Martin:
Does your wife work here at the Bronx Zoo?
Horst:
Yes, she does. And our daughter wants to work here.
Martin:
How old is your daughter?
Horst:
She is ten years old. Children love animals.
